How it works

Launch the app. It requests camera permission once — that's the only setup you'll ever do.
A small draggable window shows your rear camera — positioned top-left by default so it's always visible but never in the way.
Switch to Instagram, Google Maps, messages — anything. Second Sight floats on top so you always see what's ahead.

Second Sight does not collect, store, or transmit your camera footage. The live camera feed is processed entirely on your device and never sent to our servers. We collect only basic anonymous usage analytics to improve the product.
We request access to your device camera solely to display the live overlay. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device only. If you record video, that recording saves locally to your device storage and is never uploaded by Second Sight.
We do not maintain servers that store personal data or media files. Subscription billing is handled securely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never see your payment information.
We use anonymous analytics services to understand feature usage. These services receive no camera data, location data, or personally identifiable information.
Second Sight is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Second Sight is a personal safety and awareness tool. You agree to use it responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not use Second Sight to record others without their knowledge in a manner that violates applicable privacy laws.
Second Sight is a supplementary awareness aid and does not replace the need to remain attentive to your physical surroundings. We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur while using the app.
Pro and Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
All content, design, and code within Second Sight is property of Second Sight and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Second Sight is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
