Second Sight offers publishers the ability for:

Greater engagement with readers - Standard print publications are trying to increase reach to what is now becoming an audience fuelled by the needs to interact with content and access multimedia resources that a simple book cannot offer.

Even though web links and QR codes are emerging onto the pages of certain publications, they rely on an Internet connected PC or device to deliver the extra content - Second Sight doesn't. Once the content is stored on the phone, the content can be accessed without Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity.

The WOW Factor - QR codes and web links can only offer limited types of content; typically audio video and imagery, but using Second Sight publishers can offer not only audio, video and Internet based content, but also 3D holograms hovering off the page! 3D holographic models allow readers to gain an extra dimension in understanding by seeing a realistic render of the content they are reading about.

A simple triggering solution - Readers and mobile phone users are just becoming used to see QR codes and realising what functionality they provide. Second Sight is the evolution of this technology by removing the need to stream content, but at the same time providing a simple and easy to recognise ‘target’ for readers to point their device at.

Play content without delays, stuttering or streaming - All content is pre-installed and played back on a mobile phone or handheld device so experiences are triggered instantly and using the simple action of pointing the device at the visual marker.

Offer content to readers indoors, outdoors or even in remote locations - There is no reliance on GPS, phone network or Wi-Fi connections to trigger or deliver content so advertisements and marketing material can viewed in the car, on the train and in any other location where streaming content isn’t possible.

Foreign language and SEN support - Provide ‘experiences’ in multiple languages to cater for different audiences and overseas readers or provide subtitled and signed versions for hard of hearing and deaf users.

Create great PR by giving to a charity of your choice - If a publisher has chosen to use the generic Second Sight application and offer Experience Packs to their reader, a percentage of the download fees will be donated to a charity chosen by the publication (see pricing structure for more information).

The pricing structure for the Second Sight software is split into two different solutions depending upon the requirements of the publisher and the expected number of users they envisage downloading the Experience Packs.
